Why food-grade ?

In order to meet your expectations, Mure & Peyrot wished to comply with French standards because these are more severe than European standards for safety knives and industrial blades. For example, the decree of January 13, 1976 requires that food grade stainless steel blades be composed of a minimum of 13% chromium, while European standards only require 12.5% chromium. This choice therefore ensures that you comply with French and European regulations. On the other hand, it induces the purchase of special steels and explains the cost of our products.
• The suitability of plastic and metallic materials for food contact has been confirmed by several French laboratories. All of their reports can be made available to potential applicants. This ability is subject to compliance with the use of authorized substances and within the limits given in terms of restrictions and / or specifications
• The components of our products are not likely to present a danger to human health, cause an unacceptable change in the composition of the food and alter the organoleptic properties of the food.

Why detectable?

Mure & Peyrot Peyrot has chosen to design and industrialize a detectable range so that dry or wet products are automatically recognized by metal detectors, in the event of falling or loss of knives during unpacking and / or production. Our products are detectable from stainless steel balls with a diameter of 3 mm.
Why a blue range?

The choice of the color blue is anything but the result of chance. Indeed, very few foods are blue in color. This contrast between safety knives and food allows for faster naked eye detection than any other color for the food industry. The quantity of PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon) is deliberately lower than the required threshold. Mure & Peyrot ensures that all its products comply with all European Union substance restrictions and will ensure that they are constantly updated.
